Nutrition and Your Health

Nutrition is essential to a healthy body and mind.  We know that healthy eating and nutrition are important factors in preventing diseases such as cancer, diabetes, heart disease and obesity.

But it can be challenging to know what foods are the best for our health. The good news is that there is no shortage of information out there for you to sink your teeth into.

To help wade your way through the endless amounts of information, check out our Region of Waterloo’s Public Health website. There you will find useful and easily digestible information, from kids nutrition and pregnancy resources to healthy eating on a budget, and much more!

Resources:

This March, we’re launching a Nutrition Month social media and information campaign to connect residents with the self-care information and health care resources they need to support overall well-being and a healthy lifestyle.
